Your monthly work
Projects, meetings and records in one place.
Your assigned project connects fieldwork to an organizational need. You may help assess employee performance, develop training or onboarding materials, examine manager feedback or review a quality-assurance process. Meet with clients and your supervisor online, then document your work and receive feedback through the process arranged with your supervisor.
The fixed monthly package includes 40 unrestricted hours, with 60 minutes of individual supervision and 60 minutes of mandatory group supervision within that total.
A path toward certification
Build fieldwork toward BCBA or BCaBA certification.
The BASN provides supervised OBM fieldwork for trainees pursuing BCBA or BCaBA certification. Work with our organizational clients, meet with your BCBA supervisor online and complete the program’s fieldwork records with your supervisor, including Monthly and Final Fieldwork Verification Forms.
Fieldwork is one part of the certification pathway. Your degree, coursework and certification application follow the BACB requirements for the credential you are pursuing. Compare BCBA and BCaBA fieldwork requirements.
Supervision and documentation

The BASN coordinates its organizational projects and supervision through its Virginia practice. Founder Matthew Hilley, a Virginia-licensed BCBA, oversees the firm’s 20 BCBA supervisors and approves the program’s fieldwork activities. Your assigned BCBA supervisor guides your work. Applicable requirements depend on the activities and locations involved.
We assign you a qualified BCBA supervisor who is currently certified and licensed as required in your jurisdiction. We guarantee your BASN fieldwork hours will count toward BCBA certification and applicable state licensure when you meet the requirements in the BACB’s handbook and applicable state rules. If an eligibility issue cannot be resolved, you receive a full refund.

Organizational projects give you practice connecting behavior analysis to the way people work. With your supervisor, examine the conditions affecting performance and consider which response fits the problem. Develop your ability to measure the work, explain a recommendation and evaluate implementation with the client.
Matthew Hilley operates The BASN and other non-clinical ABA companies. Some trainees have completed supervision, sat for their BCBA examinations and later returned as BCBA colleagues. Employment is separate from supervision and depends on future openings, qualifications and fit, but the program can give you relevant experience for those conversations.
