Online fieldwork with clients provided
How to get BCBA supervision hours online.
Start with a fieldwork arrangement that provides client work, a qualified supervisor and a plan for documenting your experience. At The BASN, you work online on Organizational Behavior Management projects, with the organizational client and BCBA supervisor provided.
$249 per calendar month for exactly 40 unrestricted fieldwork hours under the Standard 2027 requirements. The total includes 60 minutes of individual supervision and 60 minutes of mandatory group supervision.
Those two supervision hours are included within the 40 hours. Your remaining fieldwork follows your supervisor’s plan for the assigned organizational client project.
Finding fieldwork
Where will your client work and supervision come from?
An employer or university placement may help arrange client work and supervision. When comparing options, establish who provides the client, which activities you will complete and who supervises them. A supervisor meeting is one part of a fieldwork arrangement.
The BASN provides a separate organizational client project and assigned BCBA for each package. You can begin without finding your own organizational client, or add BASN’s 40 unrestricted hours alongside another fieldwork placement.
Your BASN project and records stay separate from other placements. Share your current arrangements during enrollment so you can plan your schedule and combined hours.

Bring your fieldwork plan into focus.
- Review your certification plan. Have your degree and coursework information ready, along with your intended credential and application timing. Review the fieldwork requirements for your plan.
- Gather your existing hours and placement details. Include current supervision arrangements so your BASN project can fit alongside them.
- Choose a start month and review your availability. Group supervision has Saturday or Sunday options across the United States. Individual supervision and live client observation are scheduled with your assigned supervisor.
- Have university or employer paperwork ready. Note any required university or employer forms or addenda during enrollment so The BASN can arrange their review.
Before fieldwork begins, confirm your coursework readiness, complete your supervision agreement and any required addendum, and agree on your project schedule and documentation with your assigned BCBA supervisor. The BASN confirms your start after the required paperwork.
Enrollment and money-back guarantee
Payment is part of enrollment. Acceptance is generally immediate; applicants who fail entrance requirements receive a tuition refund.
We assign you a qualified BCBA supervisor who is currently certified and licensed as required in your jurisdiction. We guarantee your BASN fieldwork hours will count toward BCBA certification and applicable state licensure when you meet the requirements in the BACB’s handbook and applicable state rules.
If an eligibility issue cannot be resolved, you receive a full refund.

Enter your information, then continue to secure payment. The BASN will contact you directly to complete your supervision agreement and any required addendum before your start is confirmed.
Each package is $249 per calendar month for exactly 40 unrestricted fieldwork hours under the Standard 2027 requirements. It includes 60 minutes of individual supervision and 60 minutes of mandatory group supervision within the total.
Use public enrollment for your first package. Contact The BASN if you want to add another package later.
Assignment
Receive your BCBA supervisor assignment.
The BASN assigns your supervisor. After enrollment, we’ll contact you within 24–48 hours with your assignment and next steps.
Your BCBA supervisor coordinates the online client project and schedule with you. Contact The BASN about supervisor changes or group supervision scheduling.
If you stack packages, each package has a different BCBA supervisor and a different corporate client.
Project planning
Understand the organizational need.
Review the client’s project and agree on your role with your BCBA supervisor. Clarify the performance question and how the work will be measured. Depending on the assignment, you may gather information from managers and employees, review performance records or observe approved activities.
If you also receive fieldwork at another practice, share your current arrangements and availability. Your BCBA supervisor helps you schedule The BASN project and supervision alongside that work. The BASN activities and supervision remain separate from your other placement.
Participation
Complete the work and discuss it online.
Complete the assigned client work, attend individual and group supervision, and bring your materials, observations and questions for feedback. Use that feedback to refine your work and decide what needs further attention. Groups have a maximum of 10 trainees. Group supervision takes place on weekends, with Saturday or Sunday options for trainees across the United States.
Client observation takes place live online with your BCBA supervisor present. Each trainee’s activities and observation are documented individually.
Documentation
Record your work for review.
Your assigned supervisor will explain how to keep your project communication and fieldwork records, submit documentation for review and receive feedback.
Your BCBA supervisor reviews your monthly fieldwork verification forms for accuracy and coordinates their completion with you.
The student portal is under construction. Contact The BASN for assistance.
A real client project
The Homework Monitors: making tutor routines more consistent.
The Homework Monitors is a real organization contracted with The BASN. Its 12-week project involved 20 tutors and four managers, focusing on tutor preparation, session structure, follow-up documentation and manager feedback.
What could you work through in supervision?
For a learning exercise based on this project, define “session summary completed within 24 hours.” Specify when the 24-hour period begins, which sessions require a summary and how missing information will be recorded. Bring your draft measurement procedure to your BCBA supervisor, explain your choices and revise it after feedback.
This is a recreated learning exercise, separate from the actual project records. Your own assignments follow your organizational client’s needs.

Remote participation
Plan your online schedule with your supervisor.
The program is completely online. Supervision meetings and client activities have agreed times and project requirements. Individual supervision is scheduled separately from planned synchronous client observation sessions.
Your supervisor coordinates scheduling and fieldwork records with you.
Stack up to 4 packages
You may stack up to four active 40-hour packages. Each package costs $249 per calendar month and includes a different BCBA supervisor and a different corporate client. Fieldwork tracking, documentation and verification stay separate for each package. Your combined fieldwork across BASN and other placements may not exceed 160 hours per calendar month. Review each project’s expectations and your availability when planning your work.
